Location

Established in 1727, the wine farm sits just outside the small village of Milo. It is set on a mountainside of the lower slopes of Mount Etna and 700 meters above sea level. Hence, you will enjoy infinite views of woods and vineyards that end in the sea off the coastline as if you were sitting high up in an amphitheater. You are half an hour’s drive away from both the North and the South sides of Mount Etna’s ascents, but also only half an hour from the nearest beaches. Just a tiny bit further is Taormina.

Layout

This wine farm goes back a long way. Its vineyards renowned wines and its hearty Sicilian cuisine has attracted the locals for Sunday lunch for many years. The family that runs it has recently opened the doors of its fine estate to visitors from afar who enjoy good wine, good food and tranquility. Its four rooms have a homely atmosphere with splendid views across the infinite woods and other vineyards leading to the coastline. We know it will be hard to tear yourselves away from its terrace and infinity pool but being at the foot of Mount Etna you really must get yourselves up there.

In a separate building within the restored 18th century estate are 4 handsomely furnished rooms with antique furniture. The sitting room has a homely feel complete with freshly cut flowers, comfortable sofas and an open fire. The rooms come in 3 categories – standard, superior and suite. They all have a terrace and enchanting views.
