It is a place where you will see that tradition is kept alive, gardens are brimming with lemon trees and bougainvillea’s and the library is an inviting and homely untouched corner of the past.

Bright and airy, this recently renovated country house is furnished with antique furniture, designer objects and fine fabrics throughout. All rooms are individually styled and are named after plants belonging to the lush vegetation of the island – Acanto, Malva, Ginestra, Assenzio. They are divided into Classic, Superior, Deluxe and Suites.

The Signum’s covered terrace looks on to Stromboli and Panarea. Then we have the winter garden veranda house, the restaurant and the dining rooms. A bar situated on the terrace welcomes guests before and after dinner.

• The restaurant is elegant offering fine food and excellent service. The menu boasts Mediterranean dishes that look to tradition, but without neglecting innovation. Selected, seasonal raw materials enrich the simple but ever- delicious dishes. This very fine restaurant is headed by the renowned Chef Martina Caruso who has earned it a Michelin star.
• The restaurant is also open, by appointment only, to guests from the outside for informal lunch and dinner with a special menu.
• The hotel’s cellar contains carefully selected wines of vintage that come from every part of Italy, but also from many other European regions. Special attention is given to small producers of the region.
• Hotel Signum SPA is the perfect place to regain energy, vitality and lust for life amidst Aeolian’s abundant nature. Its structure follows the lines of old Eolian thermal baths, believed to be the most ancient in all Europe. Steam baths take place inside a “Thermal Stove”, inspired by the one of Saint Calogero in Lipari, built over 3500 years ago. Some treatments take place on a bed of thermal rose salt, others in a nineteenth century copper tub.
• A harmonious environment and the finest of natural therapy techniques, including geothermic water rich in minerals content, create a dreamy ambiance where the body becomes renewed again, the skin shines and the soul smiles.
